I love reptiles and would love to major in herpetology. However, I would like to stay in rural northern california after college and can’t think of any actual jobs that a herp major could be applied to. Therefore, I’m actually majoring in Elementary Education since I love kids as well (and for other reasons involving my feelings on the current condition of our educational system that I wont get into here). So, back to my point, what jobs ARE there for herpetology majors? What can you do with a major like that?
